Drop-off van at different airport in Milan - fee charged?

Drop-off van at different airport in Milan - fee charged?
I would greatly appreciate advice on what to do with my rental car situation with National. I have reserved a van for 6 people, pick up at Central Station in Milan and drop off at MXP 4 days later. However our flights changed and now we will depart from LIN airport. I'm not able to change the drop-off location for the van, and vans are no longer available when we travel, in 3 weeks. Does anyone know what would happen (fee charged?) if we drop off at the Milan airport not in our reservation?

Why not just change it at the time of pick up? System may be blocking one way on that class of vehicle. Certainly wouldn’t do it without a pre-confirmation as given how the systems work in Italy I wouldn’t be surprised if they reported it stolen when you didn’t return to the correct station.
