National/Alamo at LAS airport

National/Alamo at LAS airport
Hello, I always use Hertz but my airline is quoting me an excellent price with Alamo for my next trip to LAS.
Rental will be 13 days in Dec and we need a 4x4 vehicle, I normally get Explorers from Hertz.
- will an Alamo reservation give me access to all Alamo/National vehicles?
- I am a std customer, can I choose any vehicle in the booked category in the car park or will I be assigned a vehicle at the counter?
-I understand SUVs are 'reserve' vehicles, does this mean there is a dedicated area where such vehicles are parked to choose from?
- I can choose either 'Std 4wd Chevy Trailblazer or similar' or 'full size 4wd Durango or similar'. What are the typical vehicles? not sure if I would be able to get something really nice in the 'full size awd' category, like Escalade etc, and if it is worth paying extra for a full size suv.
