On behalf of http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/starsmilie.gif all-that-is-TAROM http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/starsmilie.gif I hereby officially declare war on InnPoints! We'll take no prisoners! (unless they know how to fix cocktails)

WAR?, we have enough war on FT as it is, I think a hostile takeover would be better, then we would also have the added bonus of getting our hands on Chex's beermachine collection http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

<Yawn, Yawn, Yawn> http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif

I would just like to remind you Tarom folks that InnPoints is the original, and everyone knows that!

Everyone wants to be like the original. Look at Pepsi, Lee's Jeans, $8 Tag Heuer watches on the streets of New York, etc...

Close, but not good enough. People know and imitation when they see it.

With a little fixing up..this place has GLAM potential. A jacuzzi in the corner, and perhaps B747 would loan us those hot pink A$$ beads he bought for decor. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Apparently, dear sir chexfan, you are not aware of the long and distinguished history and tradition of TAROM. For you to suggest now that TAROM is a late comer or that InnPoints is the true original, may I simply say that I do not agree with you one bit! Thank you however for expressing your opinion. It is perhaps important to note we have seemingly been down this road before?

Actually, I believe I said "$8 Tag Heuer watches".

You guys are knocking off something genuine, real and precious. Not something cheap.

At least you have taste in who/what you mimic...

TO the honorable SMessier... I believe that your references prove nothing to the matter of your dear "GLAM" airline being an original.

It is plain as daylight that the Save InnPoints: What Did They Do To You? campaign is a timeless classic, one that Tarom *GLAM* dearly wishes to follow.

Ah, dear sir chexfan. Whatever you say of course! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif

I should hope we can discuss this, even disagree, without resulting to insults or flaming each other.

That being said, such lies I have never seen anywhere in print -- I am shocked!!! Perhaps you would like me to remind you of the FT TOS, which CLEARLY outlines that the attacks such as those you have launched on TAROM are prohibited?

With its long history of struggle against oppresors, the Romanian people and TAROM, many of us on FT here being their proud representatives, shall defeat your pointless attempt to overtake our GLAM-leading role.

Resistance is futile chexfan -- you will be assimilated and become part of the TAROM Collective. Need I remind you that our CEO, warts and all, is now the all powerful ruler of InnPoints?

Give up sir, you are only going to hurt yourself.

VP For Telling Elite members no room upgrades are available even when there really are and elite members are entitled to them.

SIR! "Timeless classic" does not necessarily mean "glam", not by a longshot. No, sir! I think you are trying to compare bananas and grapefruits here. You can keep your silly old timeless classic if you want, but don't come running to us the next time you want some real, live, honest-to-badness glam.

And will I really be forced to resort to a furious cross-posting frenzy to remind you of your not-in-the-so-distant-past indiscretions involving a certain plum VP assignment at TAROM?

Behave. Or else.

When InnPoints gets a computer system in place that even gets close to what we have at TAROM, let's talk. Until then, you can go on pretending as much as you like.

I've read the transcript. It's not as bad as VI claims. In fact, there is no discernable difference between the contents of that transcript and any conversation I have ever had with the fan of chex. Other then the transcript made more sense.

As to the TOS violations, I call upon appointed-President-for-life-and-winner-of-every-election-ever-held Cigarman to step in here, appoint a moderator to InnPoints and clean up this mess.

After all, with true POWER comes true responsibility.

Oh, crap, is that a death squad knocking on my d
