Reporting in with an update on the UA fax number: 605-343-4104 does NOT work.

605-341-6140 works just fine.

Re: UA status match. Faxed my NWA docs in to them last Friday, my status is updated online today. So 5-6 business days is all it took.

Best SkyTeam status match?

Which SkyTeam airline would be best for matching my AC Elite (Star Gold) status? Made 95,000 q-miles in 2006 but for 2007 would like to move a lot of my flying to SkyTeam.

My SkyTeam flight would be spread over the alliance but ideal candidates would be Air France KLM, Delta, or Continental. UK based.

Any advice as to which of these airlines are good for status matching would be good.

Starwood will give gold if you have a Amex gold or platinum card

I barely use Starwood, but got a offer in the mail, if you have any amex gold or higher card, they will give you SPG Gold

United Status Match from US

Does anyone have recent experience about matching status (Gold) from US to UA? Are there problems because they are both in Star Alliance? I submitted my request last Wednesday, but I have not heard anything (I know it is still early).

Does any OneWorld program match United 1K status? (to Sapphire, not expecting to Emerald of course). I'm planning to do a ChAAllenge but it would be nice to have the Sapphire benefits (mainly lounges) while I complete it. Thanks in advance .

Did you already tried to match with AA so without doing the chAAllenge? As far as I know your chance are not to bad to get matched from 1K to AA plat. Not sure if any other OW partner will match you but doubt it.

I always throught that *A partners won't match status but there are a lot of reports here on FT that UA will match US status and vv. So wait and see what happens…

Unhappy AA match of United

Well, they're not doing it at the moment. They did offer to put me on a 90 day ChAAlenge for 5K for Gold and 10K for Platinum.
