Trailers

There's been some confusion regarding trailers.
There are 2 trailers total, + a clip (the bar scene).

Here's the trailer that hasn't been linked to yet, I think:

Anyone up for a mini-DO in SF on Christmas day to see the release?

Saw the SF screening last night...can't add too much that hasn't already been said. I enjoyed the FF aspects, the missus enjoyed watching Clooney.

Fresh Air has interviews with the author of the book and the director of the movie.

Sounds like the author doesn't see heavy flying as a glamorous thing.

Meanwhile, Reitman says he likes flying for being able to disconnect for awhile.

NPR & Washington Post reviews

Alas I was not able to see the free showing on Wednesday as that last seats were given out 30 minutes before the film started on a very rainy day. Here's a could of reviews for your pleasure.

Hopefully I can talk the wifey into going this weekend. It's funny how in a brief 1 minute preview I related so closely. Prior to getting married this past June my life was on the road (the economy and job change has me traveling once a month now). I even had purchased a small 1bed condo which I never completed furnishing because it wasn't necessary - I only slept there less than 50 nights in 2 years of owning it.

Will post my review on Monday.

A more critical review:

So the book is down on corporations but the movie softens that POV.

Here's another review. Read the end where I actually rate the travel sponsors: American, Hilton and Hertz.

Yeah, and now you have short hair. Oh wait, that's Clooney. ;)

Enjoyed the review and going to see it tonight.

I saw a flyertalker documentary about FF programs - about 20 min long.
Can anyone help me find it?
The author was doing it as a documentary for his college work in CA.
Thanks

the author is a member of FlyerTalk and all the "actors" are members of FT, actually most if not all are Moderators. Here you go:
