I submitted a status match yesterday to DL via fax requesting Plat Medallion for my current CO Plat status...sent a letter saying that I was formerly Gold Elite on NWA, but switched to CO when I moved to the DC area (also a copy of my plat card and a recent statement). Am a little worried though as I only have 16k EQM this year on CO...I'll still hit plat with end of year travel, but am wondering how this will influence DL's decision.
Anyone else tried this approach? If so, what was the lag between the request and when you heard back? |

Submitted match request on Fri to Continental via email (I'm AA plat). I logged on today and Voila Gold! Later this month I'm flying Air Canada and *AllianceGold will come in handy. Thanks FT !!!

I have a Flying Blue Gold Status (matched from LH FTL).
Do you know of any programs to which I can request a status match for Star Alliance Gold Status? If so, how do I got about applying (considering I still have 0 flights on FB). Thank you |

No, I mean I have Flying Blue Gold (which I originally matched from LH FTL) and I want to re-match to Star Alliance to get Gold.

Southwest A-List Status Match
I am MVP Gold on Alaska. I live in San Diego and travel to Portland every week. Now I am transferring to Phoenix and will be flying on Southwest. Does anybody know if Southwest will status match me the A-List if I am an Alaska Gold member. Obviously there is no first class, etc... but not having to stand in the security line in San Diego or Phoenix is a big deal when you travel each week.

With Continental you definitly need the Gold Card and a scanned copy of your gold card, but then you should be fine. |
