BTW if anyone READS the fare rules page, a date change does appear possible at no fee, prior to journey commencing.

I can no longer check my itn's on www.checkmytrip.com . This does not sound good! The message comes up "At this time, we cannot retrieve your online itinerary. Please try again later or contact your travel professional."

I can still get the reservation info at www.checkmytrip.com and I also just got off the phone with Thai in LA. They were able to give me seat assignments but said there is nothing they can do to help issue the tickets. In fact, the senior supervisor, Glen, said that they will require cash in London from any third party picking up the tickets, or that person will have to charge all the tickets on his/her own credit card.
Still can be done by a third person, but might get a little tricky with the money!!
Still holding my breath (though I at least have confirmed seats, also!)!
