I fly on my dime, I basically try to mix vacation travel with Mileage runs to make top tier on my current choice of airline. I flew 51k last month

Way at the other end of the scale are people like me - 20K miles so far this year. Probably will add another 20 - 30K by the end of this year.

I've done too much this year. Will be taking the month of July and August off unless if something amazing comes up. I've pretty much been on the road non-stop since the UA DEQM promo came out so that I could secure 1K for next year. I've been visiting places I never thought I'd have the time or $ to visit but it just happens that I was able to book all of my trips before prices rose for the summer.

I fly about ~150K w/ LH/LX per year and ~80K miles with CX/JL/AA per year. Most of my flights are international to Europe (ZRH/LHR) and Asia (HKG/NRT). When I fly in the US, I mostly fly Jetblue and Virgin (F)
Luckily we have very liberal travel rules, all international flights are booked in C or F (if no availability in C), free choice of airline.

Last year I ended up with a total of 466k MQM`s / Status Miles / EQM`s on three different airlines in three different alliances.
This year I am currently at just under 240 MQM`s / Status Miles / EQM`s (as per June 1st).
Believe me, at certain points I would like to fly less.

Another welcome to the newbie from an oldie!
The last several years, I have flown 100,000 to 130,000 BIS paid miles and one of two TATL award trips thrown in.
90% of my travel is personal; my work-related travel is just short flights within Calif.

Do those people who have flown 250k-400k miles a year, live on or own a plane??!!
It seems like they would never have time to be home, but I'm sure they probably fly mostly first and/or business so they make themselves at home there!!

Welcome to FT elbow and *ALLIANCE!
Since 2001, I've averaged 100K miles and 100 segments per year. This year is tracking about the same. I've made 1K with 100.5 segments and 100,500 miles. I have to try and maximize both since I don't know which will put me over the top. This year, three trips in paid C to LHR should get me there the "easy" way.

How do you keep up with all your frequent flyer programs and account numbers?
I will be flying a lot coming up soon and I am just wondering the best way to manage all of my FF accounts.
Thanks,
Elbow
