Icelandair

Can miles earned on Iceland Air be deposited into any other FF program? According to their site, Icelandair is partners with both CO and United, but the site doesn't have any info regarding miles.

I have NEVER seen Icelandair mentioned on any UA material I have sighted.

I flew them biz class from BWI to Iceland and Greenland and all I did with the miles was redeem for free hotel rooms as their partners were limited.

Besides in his own FFP, Icelandair only participates in SKs EuroBonus.

If you don't fly United enough to become an elite member, consider depositing United and Icelandair miles in Scandinavian Airlines' program.

For a year or two, I deposited United miles in Lufthansa's program.

Which bit of the Icelandair site talks about partnership with UA and CO?

Apparently, I was very much mistaken

I was looking at both Amtrak and Icelandair websites when posting the message, and since Amtrak is partners with Icelandair, CO, and United ( http://amtrak.com/services/partners-copy.html ) , I somehow managed to conclude that Icelandair is partners with CO and UA as well.
