If you have extra subscriptions sent to your home, you might also consider bringing those extra issues to your particular airport lounge and leaving them behind in their magazine rack.
Other flyers might appreciate the magizine and it might just drum up some additional new business for Randy from some first time readers who find it interesting and later subscribe themselves (and perhaps even later, joins FlyerTalk).

If we donate some specific # of subscriptions, will we get back a letter of some sort to tell us how much we can deduct on our income tax? The reason is that any "benefits" we get from donating subscriptions may have to be subtracted from the amount we paid--hence the value of those Starwood points might have to be subtracted from the $60 per subscription?

UA Eagle,
Your receipt will show how many subscriptions you ordered and how much you paid, but nothing about the miles. We're not sure about the details of the tax laws... you'd definitely want to check with your accountant or the IRS about that information.
landspeed,
You can have that subscription sent anywhere, but with a situation like yours you will definitely need to call in your order. The phone number for InsideFlyer is 800.767.8896 or 719.597.8889 - and this goes for everyone... if you have a "complicated," for lack of a better word, order, your best bet is to call so we can make sure to process your order correctly.
Thanks!

It seems many like me want more than a few subscriptions......why not give them to friends who do not frequent flyertalk or plan to subscribe? Colleagues, friends, family? I had done this once in the past and that person is now a regular inside flyer.
I say that it is best to give them to people who do NOT read inside flyer or flyertalk ... to avoid the whole cannibalization issue which the people giving them away in coupon connection may bring about well intentioned as they may be.
The other thing is that giving each magazine a unique home is important so that Randy will be able to boost his "requested and purchased copies" figure in his official circulation number to advertisers. That is as good as gold to be able to raise circulation.....and it helps all of us too by giving Randy & Co more leverage with airlines.

SteveHOU,
When you place the order, if you specify a specific charity address you'd like to send the magazines to and save your receipt, the donation would be tax-deductible. However, if you don't specify which charity/location you'd like to donate them to, we'll donate them to various airport lounges around the world.</font>

HK,
Again, a question for the tax man. For our purposes, we will need the specific address info for each subscription, or else we will have no idea where to send the magazines. And, again, if you're ordering multiple subscriptions it is best to call, but we will most likely ask you to send an email with the addresses you'd like the mags sent to.

Recently, sister publication Inside Flyer magazine started offering some
pretty impressive bonus miles for subscribers. Order one of the new
'Frequent Flyer Packages' and earn 2,500 bonus points from the Starwood program or 2,500 bonus miles from the Continental OnePass program. Besides pretty good insight on miles and points, this offer means you'll be flying for free in no time.
I can't agree more! I signed up yesterday, can't wait for the first issue.

I cannot justify puchasing a subscription right now--I'm still a poor graduate student. If there are any other free subscriptions out there, could somebody drop me a line and I'll take one (and just one)...
Info should be in the profile
Thanks!
