Thanks Tulane. With regards to the homeschooling,I like to think of it as an integrated approach to education. For example, when teaching the renaissance I have in mind to spend a couple of months renting a place in Florence. It will help bring the history and the ideas alive, not to mention giving her/them the opportunity to brush up on Italian(she is half Italian) and experience Italian culture. Throw in side trips to visit places of interest, some singing lessons, a cooking class, some opera's, and so on and so forth, and I hope it will make for a very rich and broad learning experience. One that she will spend several months preparing for by doing everything from reading about people like Dante, Manzoni, Galileo, Verdi, and Machivelli, to name a few, to the budgeting, planning, and logistics for the trip. All the while writing about her learning experience and sharing it via her web site and in person with her friends.

6-8 weeks for IF miles to post
Heads up guys! I will probably do this but was hoping the points post quickly - need to top off my CO Nonepass acct. Was told by Randy's staff 6-8 weeks for miles to post. Still a good deal but won't help me with my immediate need to top off CO for an award, will have to go with Amex MR transfer.

The Starwood points would be an easy way to knock off one of the five partners needed for the NW Fly Free Faster 2 10,000-mile promo.

Ling, I just received my last issue of Best Fares. Sadly, I am not going to renew after receiving it about 5 years. The web site is just too cumbersome compared to here.
I did renew Inside Flyer 5 issues early to take advantage to this offer.

Hey, 60 bucks for Randy is way better than the 60 bucks I spent for Bestfares magazine a few years back. I'm in.

boy did i wish i had waited to sign up for inside flyer..
i bit at the old clickrewards offer, and the clickmiles finally posted (after a long lag) a day before clickrewards folded.
this, however, is a remarkable deal.

SteveHOU,
When you place the order, if you specify a specific charity address you'd like to send the magazines to and save your receipt, the donation would be tax-deductible. However, if you don't specify which charity/location you'd like to donate them to, we'll donate them to various airport lounges around the world.

I need help from one of you math geniuses.
If 1 starpoint transferred to AA gets you 1 mile, and 1 starpoint transferred to QF gets you 2, and since QF issues reward travel on BA/AA, wouldn't you be better off, more bang for buck, transferring to QF? And then get them to issue the reward on AA?

If anyone else is placing such large quantities of subsciptions in search of miles and wouldn't mind giving them away, a few of the local libraries around here could probably use a subscription.

Is it possible to give them to a charity as something for them to give away? My mom's on the board of a charity to whom I'd like to donate several subscriptions for them to offer as a raffle prize.
Would it logistically possible for Inside Flyer to transfer the subscriptions to raffle winners at a later point in time?
Thanks!
