The 1-800-flowers promotion got me $600 in flowers (including gift certificates I used throughout the year) and almost 60,000 Delta ff miles.

The $250 to Fiji and $92 WT+ on BA to Europe are the two that stand out most in my mind.

free 10K Delta from their Dash to Gate promo, may not be the most rewarding deal, but certainly the one requires the least effort. Collected 20K (10 for me, 10 for my SO) in 10 minutes. It didn't cost a thing.

A similar thread from half a year ago.

Oh, yes, I forgot that. That was a good one. I got 9500 ff miles, and got my sister, my husband, & my 2 sons as well.

$25 incl taxes for W Times Square NYC and the currently running promotion where $80 worth of soda purchases at Wendy's (even less cost if you are willing to pick up other people's used soda cups) will net you a RT ticket on AirTran.

The best mistake? The Tahiti fares last winter. Due to a Travelocity error in currency conversion, every flight ex-PPT only cost 10% of the regular fare. Some people did (almost) RTW trips in F, I just bought a few C tickets to Europe. Still hoping for something like that to come back.

On that particular mistake, my ticket was PPT-SCL-SYD-SCL-MAD-SCL-LAX-PPT.

All in F. A $28,000.00 airline ticket for $2800. (I'm still using it.)

Thank you FT and thank you Travelocity!

Back in 1996 or so (pre dates FT I believe), I got an email special from Cathay Pacific. LAX-HKG, 5 nights at a 4* hotel and airfare FOR TWO, $599 all in. I think we spent more on airfare to LAX from our home town.

My wife and I had a wonderful time and even in the "back of the bus" Cathay was outstanding...

Yes, and we should also thank NW for the recent fuel surcharge only to Europe, and B class ex-LCA fares.
