Have about 900,000 miles on CO. I like to use for international vacation trips but CO charges cash for upgrading, and often for intrenational trips cannot get a confirmed business class until 30 days before departure. I end up hoarding becaue the miles are difficult to efficiently use.

hoarder but not by choice
Generally a hoarder just due to no time to be a user....use miles for weekend trips if able to stay in Europe over weekends. Use hotel points for the parents when I get the chance. Have done the same thing for friends on occasion.

Time is my enemy.....would love to use more of my miles/points (1MM+ banked on both AA and UA, 1.3MM+ HHonors points, and a few hundred K on US, CO, and DL), but can't find the time to do so. In addition, most all of my domestic travel, particularly for family events, is planned very far in advance so I am able to get low fares. Can't see burning miles for a $150 fare.
