I got my cereals at Von's, then went to Pavilions for more. There was no limit mentioned on their flyer under the cereal, where it usually says "Limit 4 to a customer". It says nothing about limits. Plus, as someone mentioned above, I added more to my balance to earn my next set of UA miles. I also paid with my Hilton AMEX, thereby earning double points.
I acidentally slit open a bag of cereal when I was trying to remove the certificate on the back. So I thought I would try a bowl of the Frosted Mini-Wheats. Yecchh! The rest of that bag is going in the garbage.
On the front of my box it said, "Look inside for your Eet and Ern code." Since I had already ruined that box, I looked inside and there's a code and gives a website for more info... http://www.eetandern.com
Since I'm an AOL user, it won't let me go to any of the pages (privacy issue). Has anyone else looked this up? What does one "ern" by sending in these codes? It appears that you earn CDs, or jackets, and such, not airline miles. Just wanted to know.

Nanook: When you enter eetandern codes at the eetandern website, you accumulate "points" that you can redeem for children's/teenager's toys/CDs/nintendo type games. Unfortunately there are no frequent flier mileage redemption possibilities. I've entered in a bunch of the codes and gotten my two year old some Disney beenie babies. Needless to say, she was happy!

Was the $1 coupon on the outside of the box or on the inside? The Farmer Jack's Supermarkets over here in Central Virginia double coupons up to $1 and have no limit on how many coupons you use. There are a number of Kellogg's items with the 100 mile offer, but I can't find any discounts on the boxes.

Since I have about 8 Ralphs and 3 Vons within a 5 mile area, I made the rounds today. Free miles are always a plus. The cashiers were all very congratulatory about my great buy.
Unfortunately the sale ends tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb. 20th). It's a good thing that most of them are open 24 hours.......

I went back to Von's (Euclid & Wilshire)yesterday and they were sold out. The checker said more would arrive today. On my way.
By the way, if any of you actually eat the cereal, I'm sure Library Dragon's school could use the Eet and Ern codes from inside the box.

I figured out this same deal last Friday when shopping at Vons, but didn't realize Ralphs was also offering the Mini-Wheats on sale. Drat. As it is, by making the rounds of my four local Vons stores whenever I was out and about, I accumulated 3500 AA miles for an initial investment of $4.
Cashiers were uniformly congratulatory about my great deal and I think a few of them got on the freebie train, too. I was told I could use three coupons at a time and could return every 2 hours.
By the way, my local food bank was HAPPY to get the bags of cereal, sans boxes, to feed the homeless. (As if being homeless wasn't enough punishment already, they get to eat Mini Wheats... Oh well, at least it's nutritious!)

Hey it gets even better, i went to get a few more boxes today and noticed that i received UA/Vons credit for my $0 purchases. I was credited at $2 per box.
This promotion is really bad for my two additions: coupons & miles.

I got my boxes and used the coupon on the side of the boxe even though it was for bite size. It worked and that is all that matters. I got 35 boxes for a total of $10 as used 5 $1 off 2 coupons as a starter. That is all good because I have 5 more free coupons and I will just wait until the cereal goes on sale again. It always does.
With all the cereal that I have, I will trailing down to the rescue mission to donate it.

JSM said the sale was over yesterday.
Is this good just for CA, or is it nationwide?
Specifically, does the Detroit area have the promo?
Thanks.
