The miles were taken out of my account the next day, fyi.

The AA code worked like a charm. Thanks again!
Only took about 3 weeks to get started. ^

Had 10k miles on Delta because of the Dash to the Gate promotion. Was feeling pretty stupid after finding out that Delta has a terrible redemption program.
Glad to find out that I could save some $$$ using those miles

Now I only hope the newspapers start arriving before I change address in 2 months

I signed up for 12 weeks last August using UA miles. My subscription was due to expire in November, but they keep sending it! It's now been well over 12 additional weeks. My expiration date online still says November but the paper comes like clockwork every morning. I guess they need the subscribers to pump up their circulation...

It'll end shortly. They keep sending it hoping you'll sign up for the subscription through all the letters advising you that your subscription is ending soon.

These sound like great deals. I have a sub. to the WSJ in the states on hold while I am in Korea for 2 months. anyone know any deals for the AWSJ? I don't want to wait a long time for it to start though.

I save a LOT of time by doing a few keyword searches and picking up articles of interest rather than wading through the entire paper. Naturally, you miss fun items that you didn't search for. For that, you can use the default search, which pulls up the most recent articles, a list which changes several times per day. If you manually change the URL for the default search (the one that ends with &maxitems=30&bool_query=*) to end with &maxitems=999&bool_query=* , you will get several days' worth of article headlines to browse.
