By now you know already the most important, very first unanimous decision of the ad-hoc committee:

as CatMan told you here already, the the first Emmett_Nancy_Roberto award goes to Emmett_Nancy_Roberto.

However, as CatMan told you too, to claim the prize Emmett_Nancy_Roberto has to e-mail Rudi or Catman with his/her real name and give her real home adress by 10-31. Otherwise we will choose an alternate winner. (Your confidentiality is guaranteed).

And to make cheating a little bit more difficult, Emmett_Nancy_Roberto have at the same time as they/she/he emails the address to announce such the doing of such an email under her/his/their name here on flyer talk.

The prizes will be sent from Switzerland and are a cat's theme made of Swiss chocolates.

let us (CatMan and me) share some of our reasonings/arguments/thinkings/dreams and nightmares about this award:

the awards should:
- not make anybody jealeous (CatMan and Rudi don't want to have ennemies here)
- not embarass the winner
- not have any real monney-value for anybody (the winner and the "founders" included)
- not make any bribes possible (I will not give you my bank account, nor will CatMan)
- honor contributions that either are unique (out of the extraordinary) helping us to earn miles or to entertain the "miles-addicts"
- beiing/creating no problem(s) for our hosts of FlyerTalk
- be fun, beiing typically in the pioneer sense of the Internet free and without needing strict rules and eventually land/end in the hands of lawyers ...
- etc. etc. etc. etc.

Uhhhhhhhh...... just how often are you going to bestow an EMR? One knighting every 2-3 months would give it sufficient prestige to give the Swedish Academy in Stockholm something to think about. Although I could see exceptional postings might warrant flexibiliy in that schedule.

here would like. Any Takers? CATMAN

Sorry about Ricechex....the first post made by this person had a similar reading to that of emmett/nancy/roberto and I was suspicious.
I know that E/N/R is in New Jersey and flies from EWR...and Ricechex was flying Continental, which has a large hub at EWR. Even though the grammar and spelling was certainly better than E/N/R, the format of the questions made me suspicious too. Guess I was wrong about my suspicions...please forgive me. :?

That's ok, Aubie... one of my friends thinks
with my nine lives three of them are EMMETT
Nancy and Roberto. The side that can't
spell and slurs words together.

Remember: CATMAN also lives near and flies
out of EWR and lives in NJ> But for the record, I am not relation to these people
(My only relations are named YAZ and EDDIE.)

Okay, Aubie, I will forgive you, but dont let it happen again! I do not live in New Jersey, by the way! I do like Continental as they fly to the places I like to go.

Secondly, I think there is something missing here regarding the Emmett/Nancy/Roberto award. How does one get nominated? Is it based on misspelling alone? Or is it based on incorrect grammar? Does the combo of misspellings and incorrect grammar make one a contender? Does the person have to say that they are Premier Exec, yet reflect pure stupidity to get the award? And who gets to vote? Do the members with the most posts get to choose the winner?

Another suggestion for the prizewinner:

They can have their picture featured on Flyer Talk!

the whole thing - Ricechex - will be pure Swiss dictatorship combined with the secrets/mistery of nine-life-cats and sweetened by chocolates, so that the addicted frequent fliers will follow and not find out how miserably they are being ruled (as slaves).
