Hi Jellybean and welcome, but two points about your post:
1. Pudding Guy's coup was hardly a scam --scam: a plan or action for making money which is dishonest, illegal and often clever (Cambridge International Dictionary)--although it was certainly clever.
2. You may be the only girl in this thread, but you certainly aren't the only woman

My questions still is:You said it said on your postcards something about returning the UPC's..If you would rather have Gage mail the UPC's back to you. Rather then waiting a couple of weeks for the mileage certificates.. WHAT use would you have for the UPC's???????
Any reasoning on why someoone would take this strategy?

Ginbit, Since I started this thread. I'll tell you. The Healthy Choice promotion for miles ended effective December 31, 1999.To get more information on how it ALL began> Go to search on Flyer Talk and type in Healthy Choice YOU will get ALL the juicy details!

It is an order in a sense. And they
have indicated ship dates too.. I
think you might have hit the nail on
head.. But what incentive or value
would the consumer get out of asking
for the UPCs? When the certificates
have "value" 500 miles each. Nothing
to sneeze at.. Right?

Just received the promised "end of the week" call from Tammy/Tammee/Tami from HC.
Relieved to say the other half of my Delta certs *are* on back order and *will* among those shipped third class mail on April 10th.
Naturally, I'm not at all pleased the total elapsed time from mailng to receipt will be in excess of SIX months, but at least I no longer have to worry about being shorted 25,000 worth of frequent flier miles.
