Inbound transfers from amazon payments seem to work. I haven't received my bonus yet, but a rep on the phone confirmed that I qualified for the offer and should receive the points within 90 days. My only deposits to the account were AP transfers.

In the Pacific NW, HomeStreet Bank is offering $300 for opening a new checking account and doing the following:

+80 ($2/debit transaction up to 40)
+100 ($75 for getting direct deposit)
+75 ($15/Bill Pay transactions up to 5)
+25 ($25 for giving them your debit card and checks from your old bank)
+20 ($25 for selecting eStatements)

All in all, not too hard. You can also pick up an extra $50 for referring someone to HomeStreet.

I got a recent bonus at US Bank for $75 for opening a new account (and spending $75 on the checking card) + $100 Visa gift card for putting $1000 in Savings and keeping it there for a year.

Also, for a few more months, I get +0.25 pts/$ on my US Bank Flexperks, so it made sense to open one.

But if less than $600 TYP from checking spent in a year, no 1099-MISC.

With UFB Direct, you can earn 1 American Airlines mile for every $2 you spend on your debit card - yes, that includes PIN purchases.

Can you please elaborate on this. does this $600 value includes sign up bonus as well, or only TYP issues every month for checking relationship.

Thanks.
