IAD-ADD KLM or Luftansa?
have a an award ticket booked using 120k skymiles for this trip but im starting to reconsider if I should cancel it and use UR points to transfer to UA and book on Lufthansa and UA business for 120k miles.
I have 230k skymiles and 140 UR points and I obviously value my UR points more than the skymiles and booked using skymiles for that reason but I have another trip to CDG later in the year that I can use the skymiles on. So my question is are the KLM business seats bad enough to the point that I should opt with Lufthansa/United?

I booked a *A IAD-ADD-JRO J award on ET (first leg nonstop) and changed to IAD-FRA-ADD in LH J. Reason is LH now runs the new 747-8 IAD-FRA which has full flat seats six abreast instead of seven abreast angled lie flat on ET's 777LR. Slightly longer flight time but OK with me for much better seats on night flights.

I have no idea why I like collecting them, but I do. Great marketing by KLM.

OP, are you a DL PM or DM? That's my favorite part about booking ST award tickets, because if plans change, I can cancel them fee free with no problem. That in and of itself is worth flying ST for me, since my plans change often.
