Actually, no. I believe, they fly twice a week between LIM and IPC, at least currently. They used to fly more and less often. I believe you are correct about IPC to PPT flying once a week, but they used to fly twice a week last year. LAN isn't very shy about changing their schedule at the moment's notice when they feel like it.

The current schedule seems to be once a day SCL-IPC, except 2 flights on Mon and 0 on Tue. LIM-IPC is one each on Sun and Wed, leaving around 2am and getting to IPC early morning. But there are often extra flights announced, at odd hours. Over the years, the number of flights has gone up and down. Last year LAN announced direct flights from GRU to IPC, but they havent materialized yet. For those unfamiliar with LAN, service in the air is usually excellent; service on the ground can often be chaotic and unhelpful.
During my recent trip to IPC, LAN lost the baggage of 2 girls on board. The ground personnel were absolutely unhelpful in every possible way, basically telling them to take a hike and wait what happens. The baggage never arrived until the point they left the island.

OMG - you made my day. I now have to plan this trip. My BA Chase card and my Amex MR points both now have a purpose.

30,000 on AA to LIM, 40 to SCL (not sure about BA, but should be the same, more or less).
25,000 on BA (LAN) LIM-ICP and ICP-PPT.
Whichever you choose, you'll likely be forced to go to SCL rather than LIM. Outbound flights to LIM have almost ZERO availability on AA (and BA). Inbound flights from LIM are easier to get, so you could play with OW redemptions.
Also LAN only flies 2 or 3 times a week to those islands, so availability is not stellar as well, but you can get them if you check every day. This would be a vacation of a lifetime if you can pull it off. You could even start with Machu Picchu to make it even "more perfect"

If you book a free award night, you'll MOST LIKELY get the emerald overwater (they're ALL overwater at this resort). of course you could not.
If you join ambassador, your likelihood increases, as I'm sure it does if you're a RA.
Further you join AMB, use the bogo to pay for 2 nights, and reward the rest o the night, you should definitely be in a sapphire or at least emerald through out.

According to their sales brochure, they only have like 3 of those 'coral suites'.. and based on experience here no one actually stay in those.

But 1 Coral suite is used for guests and you could very well end up in it if the resort is sold out. When I was there, I saw guests in the Coral suite for all 3 days. That said, I suspect they will upgrade you if there is a room available. Another benefit of paying the upgrade charge, is that you can select a room with more privacy than a random assignment.

Good like and enjoy your trip. Note Ajnaro's note about the lack of IPC-PPT availability, though. Still, wouldn't hurt to check BA site consistently and even give a call to BA every now. You might just get lucky.
