If you book a free award night, you'll MOST LIKELY get the emerald overwater (they're ALL overwater at this resort). of course you could not.
If you join ambassador, your likelihood increases, as I'm sure it does if you're a RA.
Actually only 1 of those coral suites are used for guests. The other two coral suites have curtains blacking out the windows and doorways and there is a resident cat in the second room.
But 1 Coral suite is used for guests and you could very well end up in it if the resort is sold out. When I was there, I saw guests in the Coral suite for all 3 days. That said, I suspect they will upgrade you if there is a room available. Another benefit of paying the upgrade charge, is that you can select a room with more privacy than a random assignment.
