I completely agree with this. In my (limited) dealings with LAN, I have been extremely satisfied with their planes and on-board services, but when I needed anything with their customer service, it's been like pulling teeth. Not even mentioning their website that (when it works) is stuck in the 90-s.
During my recent trip to IPC, LAN lost the baggage of 2 girls on board. The ground personnel were absolutely unhelpful in every possible way, basically telling them to take a hike and wait what happens. The baggage never arrived until the point they left the island.
