It sounds like it. Mine appeared instantly upon first login immediately after registering to the bmi website.
You sure you got the promo code correct? |
Early morning when I registered myself, the bmi Member ID's were in the 10013406xxx range, and now when I registered a family member, the ID's are in the 10013566xxx range. Yikes! Over 160,000 accounts in less than 16 hours. Priority Club 2.0? :td:

Just follow Altoid easy steps. Most of you are making this way to complicated. Just watch the birthdate format as he stated. You may want to login to you BA profile and the use the birthdate BA has in your profile since you can not change a BA birthdate online.
Appreciate any advice |

I gave a made up birthdate in creating the BMI account. I don't have a birthdate on my BA account but am now Leary of putting in the made up one on BA as you said it can't be changed online and I don't want to mess up my BA account for future flight.
Appreciate any advice |

Am I the only one who didn't get 1000 miles for registering? I used the voucher code above (copied and pasted), but I'm still showing 0.

I don't know exactly what your asking? But why did you put a fake birthday on your BMI account?

Thanks, Happy. Glad to know it's not just me. I'll give it another shot tomorrow.

Do you think it will look suspicious if I create another account and get another 1,000 points even though I will not be using the original one with wrong birth date?

I didn't see the s in the URL that said the site was secure. I also noticed that BA also doesn't have the s. I hope birth dates and passport numbers are secure.

You can sign up for multiple BMI Diamond Club accounts in your own name (of course with different emails) and transfer all those miles to your BA. How risky is this?
