Timing question about comping over from DL PM to AA Plat
 
I'm looking at trying to get AA to match my DL PM status, probably to AA Platinum.

I understand they like to do these 90-day challenges. I already have a SE Asia trip booked on them with the outbound in late Jan. and the return in mid- Feb. 2015 (AA to HKG, then CX). The fare gets 50% EQPs but would come close to the 10K (if that's what they want).

Question: When should I ask for the status match to get the 90 days that include both the outbound and return on this trip? Now, or wait?

Any other info about what to expect also welcome.

follow up with them. My case, no response for some weeks. Then I followed it up within couple days they replied and match it

As it was an online form to do status match, which address did you send a follow-up if you mind sharing that? Many thanks! I sent my match request 2 months ago from OWE and still no answer.

WOW. I Finally after 3 months of waiting and 3 times sending request to turkish for match from Aegean gold, received today my gold status. They are both *A so not a major gain, but i asked El Al for a match from Aegean, but they said they don't match to Aegean but they do match to Turkish, so that's quite a major gain for me, that i can hopefully get a match from a match!:D

Today I've asked to match my China Airlines Dynasty Flyer Emerald to EVA Air Infinity MileageLands Gold, so Skyteam to StarAlliance. In the statusmatcher website, they wrote that 2 people already got this opportunity, providing to have some transactions on both the accounts.
Let's see what happen. :-)

Looking to do that as well. However they don't list an emailaddress. How did you contact them.

How long is your status on TK in this conditions valid? 2015?2016?
