I figure you don't have 20 friends to share your valuable secret with? Why not just help your friends?

sorry but I gotta give this a

I pm'ed you, did not hear back, and have less than 100 posts. If I had more would that make me more credible? That AA expo cat has thousands but has only been a member a few months, I don't have many posts b/c I'm not a frequent traveler and do not have all the knowledge others here have.

Anyhow, if this can only hold maybe 20 more people, than you are just trolling. Getting literally thousands of people excited for nothing. The mod last night did the right thing shutting down the thread, why bother telling anyone? Surely you must have a few people close to you that can share in this?

May I ask how long ago did you PM?

The timeline might be a much better indicator whether OP is indeed in a sharing or trolling mode.

BTW, I still don't see the point of having two threads on the exact same topic in MilesBuzz! Forum, which is literally content-empty for now.

The logic behind this thread and the earlier thread makes no sense. In my time on FT, I've seen concerns expressed about publicizing information about a deal or a trick because if too many folks learn of a deal or a trick, it'll get shut down. The "Trick It" forum operates in code basically because of this premise. But those concerns assume that a lot of folks are going to take advantage of the deal, thus either alerting airlines/hotels/financial institutions to the loophole by the sheer mass of people suddenly participating or the inevitable call by the newbie to complain that he didn't get some small thing in addition to the big deal, again alerting "the authorities" to the loophole.

The OP has now revealed that no more than twenty people can do this deal. I agree that this isn't the new Mint, which could be done by anybody and which ran for quite some time before it got shut down. And, mainly because it started getting publicized in the MSM and not here on FT or on the blogs. Believe me, I've learned that if I read about some trick or deal in the Wall Street Journal or one of the travel magazines, it's just about jumped the shark.

OP, Philemer gave you instructions to contact him when he shut down the first thread if you wanted to pass information along. Starting a second thread and whining that no mod contacted you about this "deal" starts to look like a desperate grab for attention. In addition, basically ignoring the instructions of a mod and starting a second thread telling us you can't reveal this deal to more than twenty people makes me wonder what benefit you derive from getting those twenty people involved.

Either give up the information so that the community can generally evaluate it, or I suspect you'll find this thread shut down as well.

I think you're on to the problem. If he really wanted to help he would and not play it out like a drama queen.

No reason to feel like an idiot, I reserve that right for myself after following your two silly threads over the past 18 hours.

If I were to guess, the OP has invented (or if I were to guess even further re-invented) a certain loophole but when trying to implement it (s)he incurred unexpected side effects (probably strange looks from vendors involved and maybe calls from his bank's fraud department) and what he's really seeking on this forum is how to deal with these challenges.

I sceptical why someone who has (re)discovered a working mechanism that allowed him to get 9000 miles during the last month (info from the FT thread started by this guy yesterday that was subsequently closed by the moderators) that can only allow limited number of users will step forward with the desire to share. Sorry for being skeptical - that's just my profession.

Pick Me, Pick Me!
I have over 100 posts, but I notice that the OP does not!!!
I would love 9000 miles, but it fails to compare to the 100K from Capital one this month! I love FT!!

Mr. P. is just the vocal, wise sage. There are many who ran the tables at the mint casino quietly and...umm...efficiently.<g>
