Best use of points for a leisure trip to New York in March
1. Conrad New York (5x32,000= 160,000 HH points). Costs would be about $555 per night including taxes. I am HH Gold so I would need to factor in any additional benefits that might entail.
2. Westin Times Square (5x12000= 48,000 star points). Costs per night would be $284 plus taxes. I am SGP Gold so I would need to factor any additional benefits that might entail.
3. Courtyard New York Manhattan/Times Square South (5 x 35,000= 140,000 points). Total cost would be 1,962.51, tax included). I am lowly Marriott silver.
This is only my second trip to the big apple and would primarily be doing all the touristy things I have the time to do. My current points balances are as follows:
Hilton Honors= 311,000
SPG= 169,987
Marriott- 210,114
Any help would be greatly appreciated! ^

I'd suggest redeeming your HHonors points for the DoubleTree Suites (it used to be the Embassy Suites) in Times Square. I't's a modern suite hotel kept in immaculate condition and the location can't be beat for a tourist.
