If you are buying JUST for the miles, yes, I agree. If you are purchasing something - even priced a little higher than you might normally spend - but you intend to use the product (or would have bought a gift anyway), 1.67 CPM is fabulous!

If you were low-balling; The bamboo mat was the way to go, $8.90 total purchase cost including shipping.

Runner ups were: daikon veggie and whitman's voucher
Of course, if you liked the slate cheese board
then that's what is important. It doesnt look like the 5 miles/$ will apply for the first purchase...
Whoa, open can of worms warning...

Go get em' MM !
Oh, and have to say, ABSOLUTE KUDOS TO GILT for a no-nonsense superb process of honoring the miles in an expedited manner for the previous offer. What a refreshing relief to the otherwise contrary we all go through. THANK YOU GILT!!!!!

For clarification, have people been credited for the miles by using their United or Continental account numbers when registering for this promo?
We tested the waters by registering new accounts for each of our Continental and United accounts, and only miles have credited to our United accounts with a posting date of 12/1/11.

Syrup was the cheapest I could find, same price as the daikon after shipping, and figured I would use it and I knew I wouldn't use the daikon. BTW, the syrup was tasty

Yes, I was low-balling, but you must have bought all the bamboo mats because they were sold out before I got there

Yes, I grabbed two of the mats, you gotta be quick if you want those sushi rolls. Dug hard and fast for those bad boys the first day of the promotion, once I let the word out, they went within days. I'm actually keeping one of the mats and gave the other to a co-worker who enjoys sushi rolls a lot.
Still cant believe what a difference this easy promo was...
