Quick question for folks who got the 50k miles after purchase:
Was there any lag between the time the miles showed up as posted by Chase and the time the miles actually showed up in your MileagePlus account?
When I log into the Chase credit card website, its shows the "Rewards History" shows that I've earned the 50k miles. However, these miles do now show up when I log into the United website. It's been this way for a week now...
Anyone else have this experience? Thanks.

The 60k offer has definitely been extended - but there's definitely a small, new twist. Here's my story:
I applied for the card using the 60k banner on the United website on 2/25, and was instantly approved. Card was received on 3/1, and I activated it and began using it.
Last night, I received TWO identical looking printed offers in my (physical) mailbox - normally I just toss this stuff, but I figured I'd open it up to see the new expiration date on the offer.
One mailer was the standard offer as we all know it - "60k Offer" that is 50k miles on first use, 10k miles at $25k annual spend.
The second offer is a "65k Offer" - 50k miles on first use, 10k miles at $25k annual spend, and an extra 5,000 miles for adding a second authorized card within the first two months. Here's a scan of the printed offer (.jpg).
Both offers list the same expiration date - April 23, 2012.

Yesterday when I clicked on the 60k banner, the next screen showed only 40k. Reading some of the previous posts, it appeared that this had been fixed; however, now I don't even have a banner on my home page. Clicking on "earn miles with our partners" only gives me the 40k offer.
Nevermind, it's showing up now.

Which account are you guys logging onto to see the 60K promo? In the integrated united.com site I no longer see a banner or a "earn miles with our partners" link. Also, when I use the following link https://www.theexplorercard.com/MPYoureIn60kAFW.aspx I either get a site error (please check back in 24 hrs) or the 40K promo.

Looks like Chase is upping the UA miles on this card until April 29 -- 3x miles for UA airfare and 1.5 miles for everything else. Does not appear to be targeted. See here for mailer shot.
Seems like it's an incentive for new card holders to get into the habit of using their new card. To that end, it seems targeted to the new card holder.

@Swat16 - thanks for the info. So I guess I'll wait a few days before I go into "issue resolution" mode.
I was a little panicked because I got the Continental Card in December 2011 and applied for the United Explorer in January 2012. I crossed my finger and hoped both bonuses would come through. Looks like I'm almost there. Just need the points to post. Planning to go to Asia in April with the wife and baby (IAD-HKG-TPE-HKT-HKG-IAD) .....
Thanks for the feedback, folks! Also thanks for all the miles. I'm new at this but the process is already paying off.

Uh Oh .... looks like Chase and United changed the offers. The steps outlined in post #321 no longer works. I did everything accordingly, but the offer kept coming up as only 40K miles. Chase redirects to another site.
sigh..... a day too late.....

I still see the offer (checked a few minutes ago - went to ual.com, logged in with my continental number). Actually applied this morning. You might want to clear cookies or try a different browser.

Yeah still shows for me as well (applied yesterday). But earlier today & at various points yesterday only the 40k was showing. Probably a cookie issue.

Thanks.
I try IE and Firefox and cleaning all cookies, and follow post #321 but still keep getting redirected immeadiately to this site https://www.theexplorercard.com/MPYoureIn40kAFW.aspx
Last week I followed post #321 and it all worked out with the 60K bonus and no redirect link. But today my browser kept being redirected. Will try again later at home.
Anyone got different link than post #321? Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I see the 60k banner but when I click on it, only the 40k shows up. I've tried on FF, IE, and Chrome....
