Set up a free account with http://www.memotome.com with an email reminder to you in 3 month's time. Then forget about it and you'll get the reminder when it's time to make changes.

AA is valuing the miles at $49 per 500 miles? That is borderline tax fraud.

Six weeks after you have been signed up for three months. So early December. Maybe.

Checked family's accounts and only Mstr. Balima was eligible. So, I unsubscribed from all e-mails for the rest of us. I will wait a few days for updates to hit the system and then try to resign up with the bonus miles. I will post when I have results.

That was an easy 3k miles. I wasn't previously subscribed to any of the emails, and I'll probably unsubscribe from all of them once the miles post in case they do a promo like this again.

Why don't you open email account for them or use something like http://10minutemail.com ?

Dang! I just read the rules again. My grandson really needs miles but he's not 18. However, he hasn't flown AA since they started requiring gender & birthdate. So I'll be sure not to add that info to his profile until the end of the year or his next flight on AA, whichever comes first.
