So I pretty much have free reign on citi barclays and Amex apps all in the same day and should wait for the last possible time for any more chase apps?

You are limited to 2 Citi apps within a 60 day period.

My possible upcoming churn:

US Air - Barclays
Hawaiian - BOH
Hawaiian - BOA
Alaskan - BOA
Cont. OnePass - Chase
Hilton - Citi
Hilton - Amex
AA - Citi Biz

I have/closed:

SPG personal
SPG bus. (closed)
AA pers. Visa
AA pers. Amex
BA

I have 160,000 SPG, but would like some points in other hotel programs. I'd like Marriott, but want to get Cont before it's gone. Should I go for 2 chase apps? Are there any I should add or lose?

If you apply for two chase cards at the same time, the second one will be flagged as a duplicate, and you will have to call to sort it out regardless.

That's what I am asking kinda. Having to call in for the second app, could I still get approval for it?

It's actually 50K if you add two authorized users: https://wwwa.applyonlinenow.com/USCC...ntry?sc=UABKIX

Nobody can say for sure. I wouldn't apply for two at once. Apply for the CO & then the Marriott about 60 days later. If you are denied the Marr. card you can call & tell them why you REALLY need it. Everyone's situation is different but I was able to convince them I NEEDED the Pref. Sapphire card with little effort.
With Chase you have a better chance of success if you wait 60+ days between apps. in my experience. But too many TOTAL hard pulls can disqualify you too.

I've gotten approved for two chase cards that I applied for on the same day. What you need when you call is a legitimate reason for having both. In my case, it was the UA card and the CO card. I simply stated I flew both airlines, and until the merger, I wanted both cards as I wanted to keep my expenses seperated. I also was able to get the BA card and Sapphire card later on within 2 months of each other.

My point was that if you wait 60+ days between apps you may not have to call and justify your actions. Glad it worked for you.

Thank you for the link, do you know what info they require for an authorized user? SSN?
