Problems with Big Crumbs?

I ordered 3000$ in American Express Gift cards 1/11/2011. Of course the order didn't post, despite my record of click throughs. I launched a missing credit inquiry as soon as it became available.
Time went by.. and by.. and by.. and by..
I followed up with bigcrumbs but they said they were still waiting on American Express sometime in March. Now bigcrumbs hasn't responded to any emails in the last month and I've launched general inquiries (because you can't launch missing credit inquires after 60 days....) that have gone completely ignored.
There is no phone number, no accessible customer support, and it looks like they've no intention of crediting me my 48 dollars of cash back.
It's absolutely infuriating to fight so long and so hard for such a small amount of money. Buyer beware with these people though.. I'd hate to have hundreds of dollars in cashback locked up with these crooks. They can easily go into 'inaccessible' mode and lock up your money for an eternity.
Is there anything else I can do? Some kind of BBB complaint? This is absolutely ridiculous.........

I made some purchases from walmart.com when mrrebates/aa shopping mall had dropped their rate to 1%/1 point.
At the time bigcrumbs showed 2.4%. Both purchases posted, but they posted with 0.8% cashback.
They said they will contact walmart but haven't heard anything back. I'm also not so sure this is walmart's problem, seems like they were late updating their site to the new rate walmart is paying but they should honor it. It's quite a bit of $$ difference too.

Usually you either get a code to remove the fee or to remove shipping. They may still have a trial free shipping program. It's a good deal if you can liquidate the cards. There are many people still doing it even though you can no longer use them at the mints... "cheerleaders" "noobs" whatever QL wants to call us... people are still buying them and liquidating them without a problem.

No cost, the site just gets a commission from Amex and they pass a % of the $$ on to you. The only cost would be either shipping or the fee, one of which you can use a code remove. There is a whole thread about it, but they can no longer be used at the Mint for coins.

Perhaps if you post the details of your issue someone here could help. Many merchants take 3+ months to fully post purchases and BC might not have information for you yet, as a result?

Your poor experience with BC denotes them as a "scam"? If someone has had nothing but superb experiences with them, would that similarly denote them as the best company in the world?

I would not classify them as a scam but they do seem to have more problems than other sites. You are their mercy and there is not much you can do about it.

Sorry for forgetting to post an update about this earlier. I have updated my previous message.

The additional credit was later posted to my account in separate transactions before enough time had passed that I would have been allowed to file a request for credit. I don't know exactly how bigcrumbs noticed, but I am glad they were able to fix the problem in time so I didn't have to ask officially.

In defense of Big Crumbs here is what I went through:
Placed 4 separate $500 GC orders in rapid succession on 3/5/11. This is when giftcards.com was first changing all their payout ratios to be a flat amount rather than a % and there were all sorts of issues with the various shopping portals.
The credits did not post within 24 hours (as they usually did) so I was worried about there being some sort of issue. I waited a week and then emailed BC letting them know they had a linking issue. They responded saying they didn't think so and to just be patient.
BC changed the payout ratio to be flat rather than a % at some point during this waiting period.
I emailed cust service asking if they would be honoring the % rate advertised at the time of my purchase despite the fact that my credits still hadn't even posted. They said yes.
I eventually filed missing credit inquiries after the proper amount of time ahd elapsed. I was eventually credited $2 per order.
Filed yet another missing credit inquiry, this time disputing the amount credited. I was eventually manually credited $10 per order bringing my cashback to the proper amount of $12 per order (I have a feeling giftcards.com did not pay BC this amount, I think BC did the right thing and decided to eat the cost here...no way for me to know this of course but that's my gut feeling)
So at the end of the day it took nearly 2 months to get everything I was entitled to but at the end of the day BC did the right thing
