I'm sure the cell phone companies are all about this idea. Lots of money made in extending credit, and less competition for this application as there are so few cell phone companies. However, even if they don't want to or not set up to extend the credit, they can make a bundle off of processing transactions. Could be a big money maker without too much tweaking to their system. They are already billing millions of customers monthly and all the important information on file. I'm overly simplifying it but could be a pretty big revenue generator for the phone companies.

They've had this for a while. But if you get an invitation, you don't need this verification.

Until you have used a Japanese Toto Jasmin toilet do not laugh. Because once you use one of these things you will wonder why America has been slow to adapt. They are beyond fantastic.

Until most USA cities update stupid building code laws regarding electrical and we actually get skilled trade people who are craftsman again I suggest you go to Japan and try one. You can find them in the USA if you look hard.

You don't have to look very hard to get your bottom done Japanese style.

I know lots of people right here in the US who have these things in their bathrooms.

Kinda amazing that someone thinks the building code is keeping them from this experience. And, IMHO, the level of skill needed to install the spraying, heating (and maybe even powdering) seats is about the same as installing an ice maker refrigerator.

By the way, what ever happened to the thread's topic about FaceCash.

But wait a second, I thought online shopping was the brick & mortar killer. How can I use a barcode on my wrist to pay for my online purchases? Who needs a barcode on their wrist, or a way to pay brick & mortar mechants with their phone, if all puchases will be online soon?

I have to say I really like the fact that they stay warm, I can do without the water squirting on my butt.

Better than the toilets you find in the Tokyo subway and out in the countryside.
