I got the same misuse email. TopGuest/FourSquare often think you are miles away even when you are sitting in the location. My building is in the location of a DoubleTree so only think it is fair that I can check in there daily, yet TopGuest thinks that is misuse apparently. I cannot help it if my iPhone thinks I am miles away from the place I am actually standing. The GPS is often way off. I do plan on continuing to use TopGuest because I like the benefits, but I dont appreciate being accused of misusing something when it is not true.

Thanks for your presence here TopGuest Lurker, but realize that programs like these often have caveats that are not necessarily misuse, but simply issues that can arise like the GPS being inaccurate. I hope you will not penalize loyal users for these issues. Fingers crossed they dont ban me too!

anyone have anything post from Choice Privileges lately? Checkins are showing up in Topguest, still nothing in my Choice account for over 2 months, even after the e-mail about them fixing the posting problem with Choice.

I have had the same issue. Contacting them has been useless since they say Choice is the one delaying the postings.

I've found TopGuest to be very responsive to my inquiries.

Hilton has been extremely quick to post points so that is great. However, I tried checking in twice in one day, probably 5 hours apart, but only one posted for the day. Anyone else experience this?

I believe only one check-in per day is allowed.

Mine haven't posted in weeks. IHG is posting fine now it seems whereas they used to be fairly irregular.

Ah, when reading the previous pages of the thread it seems like people were checking in so often, the policy must have changed due to usage abuse.

It's always been one checkin per day. However, the cut-off time isn't 12am, it's more like 5pm. So you could check in Monday morning, and Monday evening, and have 2 check ins - the second one will show up as Tuesday. This also means any checkin Tuesday before 5pm or so won't count.

I see, thanks for the clarification. So the people who are getting miss use emails are checking in at 5 different locations in a day. Seems hard for anyone who doesn't live in a big city.
