I just saw United checkins post to both CO and UA accounts (I had my CO linked originally, then switched to UA, thus why points have posted to both). The posting dates seem to indicate that the points at least include everything up to yesterday. My December points look whole, but it's odd because I have a whole batch from most of January missing.

I haven't had any PC points post since Dec 28

Should I just keep waiting or do I need to send an email or something??

Exactly the same here. Did get e-mail notifications though saying I had received points, but apparently they haven't transferred to PC.

I think it says it may take up to 6 to 8 weeks. Some of my points did take at least 6 weeks to post.

My PC points have been posting every day - just double checked my account and 1/21 was the last date I had a double post (meaning the 1/20 check-in did not post that day).

Some it takes a few hours after the FS check-in to get the confirmation e-mail from TG but they have been very consistent lately!

Just had a big slug of Choice points post today (over 1K) - maybe that finally catches it up to when Choice left the program. Have no way to know as you can't see your Choice total in the TG site anymore, but at one point was several thousand behind in them posting to Choice.

Took several weeks for the miles to start posting... but then they all hit. Now the daily check-ins net me 50 miles usually the next day. Sometimes faster than my flight miles post!

i joined topguest yesterday and they posted the Hilton and PC points today, but when i check in today, it doesnt show the points in the history and each time i try to check in it is asking me to input the HH and PC membership no...

(i cant type the numbers everyday, anyway it can remember)

i also tried the foursquare and in that it asks me to register on topguest and doesnt automatically work)

can someone point me to any guide of how topguest works?

I use topguest with foursquare. The membership number is entered in topguest, in "PROGRAMS" option. I started doing this about 2 months back and as long as you have the correct "Member ID" for the corresponding program, I had not had any issue. Although, I have to say that topgust and foursquare had been acting strange recently, where points dont post to TOPGUEST for a day or two, and then some of them all posted later, and some just do not show...I am not sure it is an issue with which, but as long as it is posting 80%+ of the time, I am not going to spend more time tracking these issues.

I've been having these issues on and off. It is more of a "hiccup" type issue, where all points stop, and then all of a sudden they email multiple times to say I received 50 points. Points then are correctly reflected in my topguest profile, and a month or so later they transfer over to my actual program accounts.

Just started doing the United checkins... have not seen any emails. Am I doing something wrong? I'm just checking in at LAX, only done it twice in the last week no points yet.

For United checkins, it had been very consistent of receiving email right after check-in, even 2 months back when no points showing up in my United account. However, in the past week, it has been lagging behind and email notification showed up random time after. Also the miles posted to United was really quick like some other FTer said earlier on this thread...

If you check-in from foursquare, be sure that you are really check into an airport venue -- I have seen many sites with airport symbol, but not really the airport. Of course, I dont know whether those terminal check-ins would be counted in this case or not. Anyway, dont over-do your check-ins to cause suspicious and I did get a warning 4 weeks back which I had no clue on what's the trigger, but I am trying to be more careful about not over-doing it.

I've seen that too, where someone just makes up a place, and calls it whatever they want. I've checked into a "fake" holiday inn and gotten points for it. I think right now they're not too picky in their giving of points. I hope that continues. I'm trying to be as careful as possible, I check in to one place at a time, wait a few hours and then check in again. I like to leave random comments, like "picking up Susan here."

What was your activity pattern that generated the "warning" and what was in the warning?
