I know this thread has gone dormant a bit, but I'd love to see some international long-haul premium cabin comparisons.
I also question a lot of those IdeaWorks numbers. Read the methodology in their paper - it's pretty vague. For example, on Southwest I'm wondering if they ran queries and marked a "Yes" every time they saw "Freedom Award". Even though I like Rapid Rewards for what it is (a simple domestic U.S. award program), I don't buy a 99+% hit rate on Standard Awards - what we really care about - for any sizable number of random citypairs for this summer.

No, I can not do that, and I dont think you have that info from the guide where these numbers are from either; (the original graph is public) Anyway, the guide can be found here; http://www.airlineinformation.org/guide.html

More generally, it seems as though UA international award availability has been decreasing over the past year, but that's just a general impression that I can't back up with data. AA still seems pretty good.

Lately I have seen decent availability even on US metal. I think they are realizing its better to offer one of their own seats as a reward rather than pay a partner.

Miracles never cease: I just confirmed two Spring Break tickets on Delta to Key West for 32,500 miles each.
Not quite the base 25k award but close enough. Optimal routing and dates. It's for my wife and a friend - non-elite on all airlines - so a good time to burn my DL miles. At least my wife can pick up the DL Amex, earn some new bonus miles, and then they can travel with one checked bag each.
Fares were in the $550-600 range, so pretty good cpm on the least-useful (to me) miles in my stash.
