Miracles never cease: I just confirmed two Spring Break tickets on Delta to Key West for 32,500 miles each.

Not quite the base 25k award but close enough. Optimal routing and dates. It's for my wife and a friend - non-elite on all airlines - so a good time to burn my DL miles. At least my wife can pick up the DL Amex, earn some new bonus miles, and then they can travel with one checked bag each.

Fares were in the $550-600 range, so pretty good cpm on the least-useful (to me) miles in my stash.
