Yes, with the Amex charge products (Green, Gold, Plat) you have until the next bill closes to pay your previous bill. It will give you a 'due date' that's about 15 days out, but as long as you pay before the next bill you're not assessed interest/fees and is considered on time.

How do you pay then because the latest the online payment system will allow you to select is the "15 day out due date"?

I personally use my bank's Bill Pay service, and using that I can schedule it for whenever I want. I'm not sure, however, if Amex allows you to do that on their site.

According to the Amex rep, you can send in a check. I used to use their telephone direct pay, but haven't' tried in a long time.

My husband received this in the mail last month and again this month. He currently does not have any Amex products.

Look at the banner on the MR Credit Card forum. Current offer is 25K after $1K spend in 3 months with no annual fee the first year.

Thanks to all on here that pushed me to apply for this card. I was just approved, (50,000 points, spend 500 first 3 months).
Since I am new to the "game", can someone tell me what will happen if I transfer these points to Southwest. How many S/W points would I get and would that equal a round trip from Tampa to San Francisco? Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to transfer the points to Southwest - they stopped being a MR transfer partner back in June (IIRC).
