Thanks for pointing out the MKE fares. Farecompare is not listing all cities that have these low fares. For example MKE & DSM ... still looking for others that Farecompare is missing.

DL: TPA-MAD $211.51ai dates Aug 17-Oct 22

Newbie posting so I hope I am doing this right. I got an email from travelzoo about an sale from TPA-MAD for about $212. I played around with dates in Sep. easy to get the fare as listed.

the email from travelzoo is as follows:

From the Travelzoo Newsdesk:

TAMPA--JUNE 9, 2009-- Prices for flights to Madrid from
Tampa reached record lows today. Fares now start at just
$212 roundtrip, including all taxes and fees.

Test-booking this fare showed the $212 price was widely
available for travel Aug. 17 through Oct. 22. Some Friday
and Saturday flights in August might be priced higher.

This is an unadvertised sale, and the fares could expire or
sell out at any time.

No problem. I was searching ORD<->MAD on kayak and noticed MKE/SNB is like $80 cheaper.

I was thinking the same thing.

If you wanna save a few bucks, LAS-AGP is $202.

I forgot to mention LAS-VLC is $209 also.

I rebooked JFK-ZRH for myself and my wife each individually on delta.com with a different AMEX skymiles number. We'll see if we get all our bonuses, but I figure this maximizes my leverage as I am certain I will have to fight for the bonuses (at least if history repeats itself with claiming DL bonuses).

I can't believe I'm foregoing my double CO miles, but this way is 8000 + 15000 + 10,000 = 33000. Not bad for a $237 summer trip to Switzerland!

And I'm guessing we could all earn MULTIPLE bonuses by taking multiple trips?

That would make this one of the best mileage runs in recent memory!

Too bad it's a damn 757.

Can you use anybody's Amercan Express card? or does it have to be in my name.

it's a darn shame I don't have a AMEX card.

Is this going to be around for a couple hours? I'd like to wait to after midnight to buy so I can have an extra day if I need to cancel

Who knows? It might end 2 minutes from now. If you really want it, buy one now, then wait until after midnight and if it's still available, buy another one and cancel the first one.

Delta has dropped a huge sale for Europe travel from July-December. It is lighting up the thread in this forum. $350 sounds terrific. I have already booked BOS-MAD, Aug 21-24 for $251 all-in. here are dozens of cities in on this...
