EZE MR, same day return. Immigration?
Are immigration offers in EZE familiar with MRs? Has anyone ever had any trouble with them in the past?
I'm an Irish citizen so I don't need a visa, and I will only be in EZE for 13 hours.

If you arrive early morning EZE immigration can take quite a while to clear.
I've had shorter turns/transits at EZE where I didn't clear immigration. 1 I breezed through security back airside in 5 minutes. The other I almost missed onward flight due to late arrival + more than an hour to get through transfer security. Some others on the same flights as me did miss their onward connection (it seems LAN held the flight for me but not for them).

EZE is no problem. Very friendly, no hassels. Clear passport, then claim bag (if checked), then customs everything through Xray and you are clear. When departing play departure tax ($18USD/$68peso).
If you are venturing into BsAs you'll have 45 minute ride one way.
Enjoy! Wonderful city with wonderful people!

I've done day visits from the US to EZE many times where I get into EZE in the morning, go into town for the day and leave in the evening back to the US. No trouble from Argentine immigration officials in Argentina, not even any questions as a day-visiting foreigner despite a huge number of intra-day trips from the US to EZE and back.

That airport fee turned into 29$ now and suppose to be included it your ticket (depending when did you buy it and when are your travelling) The idea is to stop collecting that fee at the airport AFAIK.

You also should not miss avenida 9 de julio, which is one of the widest avenues in any city in the world. It has 12 lanes across!
To get to/from EZE, I recommend Manuel Tienda Leon, which I have found has quick, reliable and inexpensive bus service to a central terminal along the waterfront, from which you can walk downtown or take a taxi.

How current is this info? As of mid-Jan, they were still collecting the fee separately (they have several booths set up specifically for this) and it was US$18.

Just left EZE bound for IAH Monday they are collecting the fee for eveyone. I really do not believe this will go into ticket prices. They have 'tellers' collecting and another agent at security scanning receipt. Far too many jobs to stop this. Again the fee is $18US, not $29. Pay with Peso or USD.

FWIW, I'm flying to EZE in 10 days and again in August. In both cases the $29 departure tax is definitely included in the fare. I sure hope they won't try to also collect $18 at the airport (but this being EZE I wouldn't be surprised if they try).

You should visit Avenida Florida, walk along the waterfront/port of Buenos Aires, visit the Museo de Bellas Artes, and see the Casa Rosada.
You also should not miss avenida 9 de julio, which is one of the widest avenues in any city in the world. It has 12 lanes across!

If you leave the transit area, you will have to pay $ 18 Airport Tax. It is not included.
As to Buenos Aires... its one of the world;s great cities. Very European style, high quality food and shopping. As waht to do. Go to Plaza St Martin. Airport bus every 30 minutes to small bus terminal near Sheraton Hotel at Plaza St Martin. When you get hungry ask go to Restaurant Establo ( Rua Paraguay ) ask taxi drive if needed. Even taking a taxi will be no more than $ 1.50. Eat their huge(600+ gram) Bife Churizo for about $ 9 and good Malbec $ 10-16 per full bottle. Though an Irishman would like that. Say hello to my favorite waiter Jorge from >Mara Brasiliera Senor Gringo from New York<
You can take public bus from outside terminal to downtown for less than $ 1. Takes 90+ minutes though but you see the neighborhoods on the way.
Bus 82 ( I believe but re-check ) walk straigh accros parking area after exiting terminal, bear to the left about 75 meters and you will see the public bus stopn). You could always take bus into city and then airport bus back ( from behind Sheraton Hotel ( $ 12 ) every 30 minutes on the full hour and the Half hour. Small terminal for only airport busses. Do not go to BA main bus terminal. tHave fun. You might just fall in love with that city. If you change your mind and want to stay a little longer I know a very ceap hotel ( $ 22 per night in the center.

). Staying in BA for 13 hours is very normal, but they will never ask you - they do not care as long as you do not stay more than 90 days . Tourist can stay up to 90 DAYS. Taxis are about $ 30-35 each way so take airprot bus or public bus #82 ( or it maybe #86 do not remember). There are two ATM outside immingration one is HSBC Withdrawal per transaction is low i.e about 300 Argentina Pesos - but you can just maek multiple withdrawals if you like.
