a 1x dumped flight on ITA prices at $500
however, OTAs (that accept the dump) price it at $660. I've tried countless different OTAs and none of them are able to get the $500 price. I've even used the ITA Powertools plugin which hasn't helped.

is this common?
is it a "glitch" on ITA which is giving an incorrect price?

Sometimes it can be very difficult or impossible.

Undumped already on blogs but nice little getaway C1-C4 €341.62 probably lower with the experts on here.

nice price but unlikely to get it cheaper by way of cutting fat due to there being only one (possibly two) airlines who even charge YQ on that route.

long time lurker. managed to teach myself a huge deal.
time to give back.

C5-C3 for £82

And looking forward, price doesn't even seem that special, but the routing on this is very nice if you don't value this certain airline's miles.

nice work & welcome to the Camel club. :D

IAkH May 22, 2015 6:57 am

I think it's time to let this one go. Found it over a year ago, and amazingly the carrier decided to renew it a few weeks ago. Let's see if they did it on purpose shall we?

1) C1.5 - C3x biz $832 o/w no tricks (used to be dumpable for €271)
2) C1.5 - C3y biz $648 o/w self dump

both r/t can be had for less than double, no tricks
unlimited stopovers → C1 → C2 → C3

I do believe that you will need to pay a little extra to make this flight bookable.

£94.30 is bookable through a more well known OTA

£67.80 for those that do not require the return trip

Flying4less May 22, 2015 9:52 am

C5-C3 R/T £46.71 All In

As flylonghaul mentioned certain OTAs more recently display the price but do not proceed to the final payment page.

That being said the lowest bookable price ive found so far is £46.71 or £56.97 if you prefer using a very popular OTA..

It also priced for £43.38 through another OTA although it was not bookable at this price!

I for one am glad a certain airline went back to it's normally scheduled YQ C1-C3

I have not been on this forum for months. Outside of WWE and Jorun, who are the best FDers at this time?
Please don't nominate yourself.

Has anyone been able to trick the $920 fares from C1 to the Maldives?

Around $470 - other may do better, need the right OTA partner.

:)

Minos May 24, 2015 11:09 am

I guess the highest level of secrecy regarding fuel dumping on UA website will be required since they offer up to 1 million miles for bug discoveries. We had bloggers complain to the DOT that their tricked itinerary included cabotage. We don't need them to complain straight to the airlines for pure profit...

their site lists the maximum payouts.

sneaky way of attracting submissions but then paying out a lot less than you expected.

Well, well.

Looking at a certain post on this page (cf supra) and all of a sudden, you guys come out of the blue, claiming having discovered a 330 EUR J deal?

Please, just to make sure, can you confirm in all honesty that you are having the quoted price on your screen right now? Or are you just trying to nominate your self?

That assumes they could even fix them...they already know about these "bugs" and haven't been able to fix them yet.

Where you been hiding? I bet you've already cracked EVA's new service and have your flights booked.

Well yeah, that's where the c1 fare originates :p Is it a 3x then? I remember some old dumps involving this carrier with one of their codeshare partners.
