If you need to be in Russia, NW will sell you a ticket HNL-SVO for 1000 bucks, one to Instanbul for 900 (same distance!). (I would rather go to Istanbul with their visas on arrival!)

Agree with the actual miles flown, but your "total" mileage is composed of 17,143 redeemable miles and 25,715 MQMs. They are two separate categories of "miles" and there is little point in adding them together. Read the T&C carefully: MQMs for M and higher fares are 150% of mileage, not 150% on top of mileage. It's a 50% bonus, or a multiplier of 1.5. Maybe this chart will help.

Thanks for the correction. I see where the mistake I made was and you're correct. I'm still monkeying with various itineraries and I came across this one as well I'm still fiddling with NW as well as an alt option that was mentioned earlier. I'm having issues finding smooth connections but it's all good practice. This itinerary seems to be a touch better than my first.
