Hmmm, here's what I'm seeing:

SFO-SYD EQMs (+7,417)
50% EQM Bonus (+3,708)

SYD-AKL EQMs (+1,345)
AKL-SYD EQMs (+1,345)

SYD-SFO EQMs (+7,417)
50% EQM Bonus (+3,708)

Total EQM: 24,940

Edited to add: just realized we essentially got the same number <slaps forehead> 12,260 doubled is 24,520

my mistake

Yup... looks like it may be happening right now (but I still see it at the moment). SFO-CHC/WLG is still there.

CNZ is no longer, converts to CROXNZ from both SFO and LAX, at least for the dates I checked on UA that ITA showed as available.

You're right, I got the wrong mileage for SYD-AKL in my previous post. Thanks for the correction. Still not enough for 2P. Some posters previously claimed that you would be 2P or almost 2P with just one way - definitely not true.

I booked at 5:15am Los Angeles time. Now when I search, the fare shows up on the search at the fare error price, but when I click to confirm, it notifies me of a higher fare of around $9k. This is nuttiness. I booked from LAX-AKL 11/16 - 11/25. I plan on getting a cheap fare from AKL - CNS and do some diving on the barrier reef.

No longer available -- the low fares are repriced when you select your flights. Has happened to me for several flights ex LAX and SFO.

One of several I booked was for the wrong dates. If I called to change the dates (later on after it is definitely pulled), they would not, right?

Try to select the $1465 fare and see what happens.

Were sorry, but the price originally quoted for your selected itinerary is not available due to a change in fare availability or a processing error. The lowest available fare is displayed below(Message 7085).

Good question...don't know the answer.

With the CO MSP-LGW fare you could change the return but not the outbound without triggering a refare. But that was CO and this is UA...if anyone knows the answer to how this fare treats changes, please do post.
