I'm not sure how else to say this... I had to call. Travelocity called me telling me I had to give them my consent to charge my CDN CC is USD, which I did with the (Indian?) call centre rep. Now the American office is trying to say they cannot issue Air Pacific tickets due to not having a plate for that carrier.

They are obviously lying... but I can't prove it .

If they honor these tickets....

I want to sit upstairs! The 744s operated by Air Pacific are VERY full of coach seats, including the upper deck! Looks like all seats have PTVs too!

THANKS CHANNA! I was able to book this for my daughter who is working in LA and got it thanks to someone else's post about the dates for 5/28-6/5 working. THANKS AGAIN!

Delivered to her door in LA for $71.70. Hope the tickets show but if they don't it's not much of a loss. Hope she can meet up with some of you FTers. She probably won't enjoy the flight time in coach though.

There is, of course, an exception to this rule. AS flights (whether or not they are an AA codeshare) earn EQMs and EQPs on AA, making them one of the only non-OW partners (if not the only one) that has this feature.

Nonetheless, I'd love to take advantage of this one, but work commitments have me staying really close to home until the middle of June. You can't win them all, I guess.

I called Air Pacific and they gave me my seat assignments...their telephone number is 800.227.4446 - the upstairs isn't used unless there is a spillage over, I was told.

Also, I asked for ANY of the bulkhead seats and was told that they are saved for Qantas - and I could check for the seat availability when I get to the airport.

I was told that my tickets have been issued and I was set to go -

You're not going to believe this! Shangri-la shows a rate of 0.58 CENTS USD for my dates. However, when I try to book it the hotel shows as fully booked. You might want to check your dates!

Double whammy possible? I am getting the .58 cents from Travelocity.
