I was thinking about my flight to PDX which also has Alaska segments. Not having to deal with such a situation before but knowing how weird airline pricing can be. I would be shocked if it was so simple as x% of miles flown. As they all let's aren't in the same booking class or even the same product.

Im on the phone with delta. They said that Air France has taken control of the ticket and as a curiosity they are allowing people
That got booked on DL ticket stock to fly it in J.
But Air France controls the ticket now which is why it was reissued on their stock and the delta agent couldnt change it. She said the reservation system wont let her do anything. Not even refund.
Theres a note about the ticket that it was a mistake fare and customers can have a full refund but need to call Air France for the refund
I asked about the a date change as the fare rules do not mention a fare difference.
She had to call over to Air France and see if they would honor the fare rules. They wont. Its basically fly as booked but in business or get a refund.
Hopefully someone else has better luck. The delta lady was quite nice and said had it been delta Metal it would have been honored but she said there was no way they AF would let their F product go for that much.

I'm also still fine. But my reservation was for 02/18 which was as far as the calendar would go at the time and happened to work out with my travel plans. I assume I'll be amongst the last to get the downgrade email. At this point, I'm more curious about how long it will take for them to get through all the bookings sequentially.

Just got a confirmation email from AF as well - rebooked to Z class. Flight was for mid August to SFO; new tickets issued on 057 stock.
If unsuccessful in claiming EU compensation I will cancel.
edit: I had already chosen the seats, don't think that would have ever been a material factor to AF's business decision to downgrade.

Where did you go to find that availability? I got a flight in January. So I'm doing my part to keep a eye on it.

Also got rebooked in Z... Received an email from Expedia with flight canceled, but when I go to Expedia, the booking still exist, in F.... Will try call them. In regard to EU264, does anyone know whether it applies when flying from non-EU country (ALG) to non-EU country (IAH), but transferring in EU with EU carrier?....
