[Premium Fare Gone]: Meridiana $599 RT CAI-JFK W/ Qatar Aircraft?
Stumbled upon a very very interesting fare. Cairo to JFK via MXP at $599 round trip - bookable in J. The flights show Airbus A330 aircraft, presumably from Qatar and definitely offering lie flat seats...

Dates in July and August.

Great find. Can even do one way CAI-JFK for $392.

Hoping we can start crediting AirItaly flights to Oneworld soon

Nice to at least earn redeemable miles with BA for now, but I'd love the full package too.
Seems only natural for OW to have an answer to SkyTeam out of Italy. With his IATA nod, I'd think Al Baker would be able to make virtually anything happen!

Nice one flagging the one way! That's pretty damn cool for a positioning flight.

I don't know about other reservation channels, but on Meridiana/AirItaly mobile web at least, when you try to reserve, they ask for your details to credit Avios to your account!?!?

Yeah you can already earn Avios, but if they join OW it'll expand. Not a bad way to collect 125% flown Avios...

Also I read you can only earn RDMs with Avios atm, no status credits

I had also tried as the google link to AirItaly page does not work. Unfortunately it seems you can only book flights TO or FROM their destinations in Italy on their page.

yeah... 1515 EUR MXP to NY in J is not bad, but it is not so exceptional as less than 500 EUR for CAI-MXP-NY!

At least earlier, it was bookable via OTAs. Yep, still bookable with CheapOair...

As I'm located in Egypt this was just too good to miss £426 with Opodo . Fingers crossed for a swift entry to oneworld or partnership with QRPC at least, before July
