I did the usual search from/to the major C1/C2 airports to try and find low base fares yesterday, but didn't see something as cheap. The only cheap fare without any workarounds that I'm aware of (also posted on the site that ruins FD- not advertising them) is 465$ (which by the way has a YQ of 230$- as opposed to the typical 476$ I see lately). If only the base fare was 19$ each way... :/
You can price near my quoted on ITA. I'm just taking info from other deals and taking them to the next level- not the one you referenced. So many possibilities beyond what I mentioned.

It's bookable; booking sites may add a little extra, but you shouldn't have any trouble.

From the US East Coast, if you have a long memory concerning C2, you can fly this itinerary for $705.14 -- from the West Coast, it's a steal at $570ai .
But on *A or OW?

It is bookable. Depending on the cities and dates you can get this as low as $501!

That ARN-OSL area is a tricky one. Especially leaving from the West coast. Good luck with it but you may have to settle for the $600 area.

Nice fare... if only I needed to go from Europe to Japan!

Prices out on ITA no problem.

Beware: ITA is know for not always showing the correct price. I suggest at a minimum going to Orbitz or Vayama and see if you can get the same fare.

noob school?

i have the vague suspicion that i should be really excited about these posts... but everyone is trying to be subtle so i have no idea what is going on. but i want to! anyone care to PM me and fill me in? what does "all in/ai" mean? how do i find out what regions the C codes stand for (C1, C2, etc). i tried looking up oneworld to see if they listed regions in such a manner but i wasn't able to find anything. and how do i find out about this deal you have been talking about? i see some of you are wanted to fly low under the radar so the pooch stays unscrewed... which i totally get... but it makes it really hard for noobs to learn...

i have two weeks around august 2nd-ish to go somewhere and 85k DL miles and 75k AA miles and would love to do some kind of quadruple-open-jawed, super-awesome, around the world or around a region trip (asia sounds good) paid for cheap or with miles. but i am just mystified by ALL the acronyms + supersly postings so i can't figure out what you all are talking about. maybe i can go somewhere awesome too but i can't tell where or how. will someone send me to noob school? i want good deals too! i promise to take notes and share my cheat sheets in the future!
