As much as I'd like to give this a try, I just can't bring myself to having to chase after my refund from this bunch of jokers again after the last Alitalia 'deal'!

I'm not sure where Jason got it from, but one way is through Saudia with e-ticket number. However, they are also showing J fare, with 2x23kg baggage.

No, PNR has nothing to do with fare class.
On Saudi website it looks like this:
Fare Basis starts with X, but Fare Class is J
