For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Thanks for any ideas...………...
Have you considered calling to up-fare a flight on existing travel this year? Can usually avoid change fee using "GG BUYUP". If no travel scheduled, then you'll need to do a short run, of course.

The $205 EWR-MIA for Wed posted by Kmxu is probably the cheapest:

This is available on multiple dates, with multiple flight options. At least the one above gets you some time in the sun.

Departure Airport: DEN
Miles Needed: 4536
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value): 233 PQD needed
Available Travel Dates: Dec 16th - 21st, and Dec 26th - 29th
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: either is fine

Route(s) You've Already Searched: DEN -> EWR/LGA -> IAH -> ORD -> DEN (overnight @ IAH - cheapest is $783 Dec 18th-19th)
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No

I'm fine with an overnight, but preferably in Houston. Also am silver currently so have 500 mile minimum per leg.

This is only for silver, but it's worth it to me. Screwed up this year and started on Southwest for work travel, but after some issues ditched them to go back to United.

Yeah, I'm not seeing anything below $650-ish (DEN-SJU). If nobody finds anything bettter, then this probably makes the most sense:

UA:$691 DEN-IAD in First 5808PQM 616PQD
Wed 19 Dec
UA1618 DEN-IAD 0600-1100 B788 **LAY-FLAT**
(11h in IAD)
UA286 IAD-DEN 2200-2361
Link: https://goo.gl/flights/NSQjP

The Udar-Hazy is a really good place to check out, you can take the bus there for just a couple of bucks. And don't forget to use your Priority Pass for restaurant credit at IAD, they just added a new one. Or TK lounge (also PP).

I also see DEN-LAN via ORD, but that only saves you $10, so not worth it. And DEN-DTW nonstop is too short.

UPDATE: Found one $100 cheaper, in Econ:

UA:$583 DEN-RSW 4675PQM 507PQD
Wed 19 Dec
UA532 DEN-ORD 0655-1017
UA2167 ORD-RSW 1130-1521
UA2198 RSW-EWR 1640-1933
UA2217 EWR-DEN 2018-2245
Link: https://goo.gl/flights/BfAW2

The connection at EWR is only 45min, so you may probably will end up overnighting at EWR. At least it will be on UA's dime when it happens.

UPDATE #2: And another, with a tight connection in IAH on the return:
UA:$584 DEN-LGA 4556PQM 508PQD
Mon 17 Dec

Oh awesome! Completely forgot about checking first class fares. And in a 787 none the less! Also, never been able to spend time in DC, and have always wanted to check out the Udar-Hazy Center. Thanks for this find!

Need help on a roundtrip flight.

Origin Airport: IAH
Destination: CID (Cedar Rapids)
Must arrive in CID NLT 3:00pm on 12-28-18
Must depart CID after 4:00pm on 12-30-18, but willing to stay over until the 31st if necessary, but would like to be home NLT 6:00pm on the 31st to have new years with the family.

Now the fun part....I already have to take this flight, but I'm pretty close to 1K so I'm hoping I can use this flight and probably odd flight path to reach my goal of 1K.

Need to reach 1K:
PQD: $1,617
PQM: 11,802

I've tried random routes but can't seem to get the PQM.
Appreciation in advance.
Don

If so, this is quite a bit cheaper:

UA:$266 DEN-LFT rt 4PQS
Sat 15 Dec
UA1192 DEN-IAH 0530-0845
UA3622 IAH-LFT 1020-1123
UA3672 LFT-IAH 1210-1325
UA1672 IAH-DEN 1448-1620

$273 DEN-JAN is also an option.
Thanks for this - my DEN-SEA was under $400, but the DEN-JAN saves me $100 and is a better schedule - much appreciated!

Trip #1 : Steal wh6cto's idea on #2354 ; IAH-EWR-BQN-EWR-IAH; IAH-EWR-IAH on B752 (flat bed). This trip should take care of PQM requirements (11,940 PQM, 940 PQD):

https://www.google.com/flights#flt=I...370*.USD.99370

Trip #2 : IAH-ORD-CID-ORD-IAH ($909 PQD) in First Class. The sum of PQD is $909+940= $1849. You can book economy outbound and FC return; this will reduce the PQD to 717; The total of the two trips will have PQD of $940+717=$1657 (barely beats $1617).

https://www.google.com/flights#flt=I...35*.USD.102035

I am sure that wh6cto has a better idea.
I had another idea for the first trip in economy, AUS-IAH-DEN-HNL-IAH-AUS for $847 PQD, and 9144 PQM; The second trip will have to be in FC both ways to meet the PQM requirement;
https://www.google.com/flights#flt=A...830*.USD.92830

Good luck!

Question Requalification for Senator Status -> 7641 Miles Needed

Departure Airport:MUC
Miles Needed: 7,641 Miles
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value): Maximum Budget 1000 Euro
Available Travel Dates: December 15 - December 31
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Codeshares OK.

Route(s) You've Already Searched: BKK, DXB, RUH
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? No.

A work trip got cancelled at the last minute, and instead of being 2k miles short, I am now over 7k miles short.
Optimally I'd like to do a multi-leg trip that achieves the required miles, but open to a long-haul if needed.
Can stay overnight using hotel points.

Thank you @wh6cto and @Kmxu.
I was ready to book the EWR-MIA RT this Wednesday as suggested, but decided to give up-faring a try based on the suggestion above, as I have a (last for the year) business flight planned this week (a quick EWR>YOW RT). The quote for the change was ~$1000...I laughed, and asked for any other options/ideas. The agent went back and talked to the other dept (forgot what dept she was talking to), and they came back with...~$140 to up-fare!!! I grabbed it. I went from T and K fares, to T and V fares (have no idea what that means,,,but it works for me).
Thanks again...
