For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

For some reason, the nonstop is much more expensive. Might be worth checking other dates. Good luck!

Those are some tough travel dates. Any chance you can go later, if it's on a weekend?

During your date range, I can't find a cheaper price, even in economy.

Had lower travel this year, but I've been 1K for 7 years straight, so struggling to decide if sitting at UA Platinum would be acceptable. I used 2 GPUs this year. Good domestic upgrade percentages regardless of routing.

I think my driver to stay is group 1 boarding, total flexibility on awards and SDC, and the occasional GPU on my international travel.

Saw the LAX-SIN deal, but wanted other plans to consider.
So 4 GPUs left? I see IN availability SFO-SIN on Nov 20,21,23...so that should mean positive R space. Might be worth booking W+GPU?

Required Spend or Budget: as low as possible - don't wanna go over 500/600.
Available Travel Dates: 17 - 19th November
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Star Alliance, I just need PQM. I'm more than good with PQD.

Thank you!
For that many miles, given the date constraints you can only depart on 17 Nov. There's not much searching to do, since there's no wiggle room.

Best I can find is:

UA:$1011 DCA-GUM (via HKG) 19157PQM
Fri 17 Nov DCA-ORD-HKG-GUM-HNL-DEN-DCA
https://goo.gl/flights/mqoV

TPE is about $100 less, but requires overnight...which negates the savings.

Cheaper options exist, just not the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Sorry, I know sounds crazy but I need Gold before the year is up and I know the last week of Nov-first week of Dec are usually slow before the holiday picks up.
Maybe something like this?

UA:$653 EWR-SIN 22233PQM
Mon 04 Dec EWR-SFO-SIN
(3h in SIN)
Wed 06 Nov SFO-LAX-EWR
https://goo.gl/flights/oVY8

EWR-CGK is $30 cheaper, but requires 6.5h overnight.

I might be crazy but I've never hit 1K and don't know if I'll get within striking distance again.
Is your $1000 give or take to make the PQD requirement, or is that your budget?

Welcome to Flyertalk ^.

Double check my math but I believe a quick trip to Milwaukee (in business) will get it done for you.

One possibility to look at:

LH/NZ: $640 FRA-LHR-LAX, LAX-LHR-FRA, over night in LAX
Booking class appear to qualify, but you should confirm partner crediting to MP

You can travel in First at 200% PQM, and have a lot of options. ORD and EWR offer lay-flat on some flights. For example:

UA:$401 IAH-ORD in First 3700PQM
Sat 02 Dec IAH-ORD-IAH **lay-flay**
https://goo.gl/flights/JTjJ

Just need to upfare to get to your PQD. Lots of dates available with lay-flat. For lay-flat, select IAH departure at 0740,1345 and ORD 1215,1605(Th,F).

Good luck!

Thanks for the help, but the dates are 11/19 to 11/21. I tried to find IAH-ORD but I only got 1840 PQM each way (at 200%). That is only half of what I need.

UA:$867 IAH-BOS in First 6994PQM (best option found based on avail date)

Unfortunately, IAH-ORD on your dates are $600+, and you would have to do that twice. A better option may be:

UA:$867 IAH-BOS in First 6994PQM (w/ 500mi min)
Mon 20 Nov IAH-BOS-EWR-IAH
(4h43m turn at BOS)
https://goo.gl/flights/hSCo

You could also do $741 IAH-HKG (w overnight) or $769 IAH-SIN, but that's a lot of miles, and any delays could extend you into 11/22.

Anyone see anything better out of IAH for 6684PQM 11/19-11/21?
