For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Need slightly over $10k PQM. Don't currently have a valid China visa and would like to avoid the expense if possible. 1 - 3 day stayover would be OK. Pretty flexible on dates, but need to be home Dec 11 & 12. Thank you!!
How's this? No Chinese Visa required (due to TWOV because of arriving from Japan, and departing to USA) for PVG layover:
UA:$662 13902PQM
Fri 01 Dec ORD-NRT
Sat 02 Dec NRT-PVG
(19h:30m in PVG)
Sun 03 Dec PVG-ORD
https://goo.gl/flights/HZWF

Also available 05-07 Dec and 07-09 Dec if either of those dates happen to work better for you.

I'm still looking for other options...

Mon 20 Dec AUS-DEN-HNL-IAH-AUS
(4h30m in HNL)

**DEN-HNL-IAH is lay-flat**

Another option is AUS-EWR-AUS nonstop in First, just over 6000PQM. But no lay-flat. Just upfare until you hit your target price.

Good luck!

UPDATE: Re-reading your request, and getting myself confused...is $1400 max budget, with no minimum spend? If so, this is the lowest First I can find:

UA:$585 AUS-PHL in First 7300PQM
Sat 16 Dec AUS-IAH-PHL-IAH-AUS
(1.5h in PHL)

Available on several days in your date range. I'm not sure there's even a cheaper Economy option on those dates...this may be the best price. Lucky you!
THANKS. I was looking at one to Anchorage too. I apologize to everyone for the confusion. To be clearer - To get my 1k status on United, I need 6k PQMs and $1400 in PQD, so my spend is around $1400, but would most likely be over that. I truly appreciate the work that people put in to this answering questions.

What are you asking for? Please correct your request.
Sorry, copied someone else's. Need miles as I only have 15 PQSs. I am OK on spending requirement.

Had planned on a EWR-HKG run on the nonstop but those dates are ridiculously expensive now.

With your very limited window, I don't think two trips are possible...one of them will be during peak travel, so the combination will likely be higher than the above. But if I see something I will update. Good luck!
Thanks again I really appreciate the help! $877 is more than I was looking to spend. Not sure if it's worth the difference between Platinum and 1K. Probably in terms of the extra RPU's + GPU's, but still...

Den to ? Need 15K and can only fly 11/27-12/5

i need 15K to get 1K on United - but have a very restricted schedule. I am not interested in staying overnight / spending time in a city. So red-eyes are perfect. Any clue on how I can do this?!

Would you mind filling out the info requested in the Wiki at the top of the page so that we (those of us that may be able to help) have all the info in a concise organized format? Thanks! ^

GPU option for HKG, or $1185 LGA-CGK

Had planned on a EWR-HKG run on the nonstop but those dates are ridiculously expensive now.

I see UA:$1613 EWR-HKG nonstop on 28 Dec, so I'm guessing that's the price to beat? (although nonstop is short mileage)

One thing might be worth considering...

UA:$1677 EWR-SFO-HKG-EWR 17539PQM W-fare
Fri 29 Dec EWR-SFO-HKG
(15h overnight in HKG)
Sun 31 Dec HKG-EWR
https://goo.gl/flights/1y1Y

On this itinerary, I currently show R availability on SFO-HKG-EWR...so GPU would immediatly clear! If you have some about to expire, this would be a good use for them.

A cheaper option is:

UA/NH:$1185 LGA-CGK 21202PQM
Mon 25 Dec LGA-IAD-NRT-CGK
(6.5h overnight in CGK)
Wed 27 Dec CGK-NRT-IAD-LGA
https://goo.gl/flights/nXDc

And you're right, no matter what you do, it's going to hurt bad!

UA/NH:$834 DEN-CGK 18800PQM+ or $869 DEN-TPE 14884PQM

It's so close in, it's hard to find decent prices. (And gets even worse closer to Xmas.) Best I found so far:

UA/NH:$834 DEN-CGK 18800PQM+
Mon 27 Nov DEN-NRT-CGK
(6.5h overnight in CGK)
Wed 29 Nov CGK-NRT-X-DEN

https://goo.gl/flights/88pQ

NRT-CGK-NRT is on NH. You can spend an extra $18 to fly NRT-DEN nonstop.

UA:$869 DEN-TPE 14844PQM
Wed 29 Nov DEN-SFO-TPE
(15h overnight in TPE)
Fri 01 Dec TPE-SFO-DEN
https://goo.gl/flights/Qei4

These are the only dates that seem to work. Good luck!

Unless I'm mistaken, it's actually $4 cheaper to fly NRT-DEN nonstop on the return (rather than stopping in LAX): https://goo.gl/flights/ooYc

Wow, you're right. Shows $829 now. Nice catch!

I still have the page open from when I posted the price half an hour ago, and it says $851.

The amazing thing is that when I ckick "Book with United", they come up separate prices...one is $829, the other is $851! I guess UA is not looking out for us?

Thanks so much.

Great choices.

Almost thinking about just doing the AA buy in but that seems whorish.

UA:$472 PHL-LAS + EWR-PHX for 9429PQM

Departure Airport: EWR/JFK/LGA/PHI
Miles Needed: 8868
Required Spend or Budget: Budget
Available Travel Dates: Has to be over the weekend such as Fri-Mon. Am looking for shortest travel time possible or only weekends not requiring to take a Friday or Monday off. (Evening After Work/Or Early AM Before Work is Fine)
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Codeshares Okay

Dates Unavailable: Dec 1-3 & Dec 8-10 Weekends

I know with such a quick turnaround and it having to be over the weekend my pickings will be slim, but I figured its worth trying to find something. I am short 8868 miles for 1K, no PQD requirement. Only exception is over a holiday like Thanksgiving, Christmas or NYE where I can utilize the holiday to travel (since I have off) and take the day in between the holiday and weekend off. But ultimately I prefer to take the least time possible and if just doing it over the weekend is possible, even better. I appreciate the help for sure!

Unfortunately that EWR-LAS in F is up to $1000+. So it's even worse now.

Found another combination to meet your 8868PQM target! Total $472 for 9429PQM:

UA:$180 PHL-LAS 5127PQM
Sat 16 Dec PHL-ORD-LAS-SFO-PHL
https://goo.gl/flights/SXss
Don't forget to pay +$40 to get out of Basic Economy (totals price above)

UA:$292 EWR-PHX 4302PQM
Sun 17 Dec EWR-IAD-PHX-EWR
https://goo.gl/flights/KNd8

Two consecutive days, returning 616am on Mon morning. (I personally couldn't do this and still be functional at work.)

Good luck!

End of year Mileage Run on AC to make 100K - need 14K miles

Hello Community,
Hope this is appropriate here.
Looking to see if the gurus on here may be able to offer suggestions/help as it appears I will be 14K miles AQM short of reaching 100K status (and $7K AQD)with Air Canada this year.
I am based in YYC and wondering if there are any suggested routings that would be best 'bang for buck'.

Thanks much!
